Stones or Stones Landing at Eagle Lake north shore.
Stones is the most northerly community of Eagle Lake. There are privately owned waterfront homes in Stones. The public boat launch is located on Stone road and there is not a fee to launch.
Stones has more of the high desert feel, abundant with Juniper trees. This is a small community with only a few roads. Lahontan heights subdivision offers a private boat slip and community water and most with water views. The Castlerock subdivision offers a private gated community, larger lots with lake views and a boat launch and common day area with paved roads. The Castlerock village is mostly undeveloped with only a handful of properties still available.
Stones offers along with free boat launching, a resturant, bar and store. The volunteer fire department is centrally located on Stone road.
